Keep The Work Packages Clear
Separate investigation, specialist repairs, surface preparation and coating application. Identify who is responsible for each package and the hold points between them.
Price Uncertainty Visibly
If an area cannot be assessed until access is available or coatings are removed, make that limitation explicit. Agree how additional findings will be documented, approved and priced.
